Cassandra (Cas) Luhmann was born and raised in Arizona.  After high school, she followed her passion of painting.  She spent time studying in Florence Italy, where she studied Renaissance painting and embraced a passion for street art. She did not pursue a career in the arts right away, but used her gift of creativity working as a merchandiser in the fashion industry, bringing to life collections from innovative designers. This brought her to Minnesota where she met her now husband, Cory. Cas and Cory then took a brief detour of about 2 years in Florida before relocating to Arizona again in 2020. They live in Chandler with their two dogs, Pino and Minny.

Despite finding beauty in all her pursuits, Cas finds the most joy in creating her own work. She uses her love of bold colors and stark contrasts to accent the beauty of the world.  Primarily using paint and canvas, she layers words, shapes, and colors to represent the foundations of our created world.  She mixes elements of abstract, realism, surrealism, collage, and street art, to depict everything from sweeping landscapes to intimate portraits.  

Cas is a believer of Jesus Christ, and uses her God-given gifts as her worship and as her witness.  Her entire body of work is a testimony to her faith, and is meant to inspire creativity, spark joy, and to help you look at the ordinary things in life in a new way.
